Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Aged human bmMSCs are seeded in the scaffold. Osteoblastic induction can slightly increase cell's bone‐forming activity to produce bone‐like tissues, shown as the sporadic xylenol orange‐stained spots (the lower left image). Notably, pioglitazone plus EGCG co‐treatment dramatically increases cell's bone‐forming activity and bone‐like tissue production (

The Aging Blood: Cellular Origins, Circulating Drivers, and Therapeutic Potential
As a conduit linking all organs, the blood system both reflects and actively drives systemic aging. This review highlights how circulating pro‐aging and antiaging factors and age‐associated hematopoietic stem cell dysfunction contribute to immunosenescence and multi‐organ decline, positioning the hematopoietic system as a target for aging intervention.

Representing the Subgrid Surface Heterogeneity of Precipitation in a General Circulation Model
Precipitation is highly variable on spatial scales smaller than a typical general circulation model (GCM) grid box. Neglecting this subgrid‐scale variability can impact the simulation of the underlying land surface and its coupling with the atmosphere ...

ABSTRACT Objective Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy type 1 (FSHD1) is a progressive neuromuscular disorder with no approved treatments. Identifying reliable biomarkers is critical to monitor disease severity, activity, and progression. Interleukin‐6 (IL‐6) has been proposed as a candidate biomarker, but longitudinal validation is limited ...

Petascale atmospheric general circulation models
The High-Order Method Modeling Environment (HOMME) is a framework to investigate using high-order element-based methods to build conservative and accurate atmospheric general circulation models. Currently, HOMME employs the discontinuous Galerkin and spectral element methods on a cubed-sphere tiled with quadrilateral elements to solve the primitive ...

Precipitation projection using a CMIP5 GCM ensemble model: a regional investigation of Syria
The possible changes in precipitation of Syrian due to climate change are projected in this study. The symmetrical uncertainty (SU) and multi-criteria decision-analysis (MCDA) methods are used to identify the best general circulation models (GCMs) for ...
