The paper explores the creation and characterization of vesicles through biocatalytic Polymerization‐Induced Self‐Assembly (bioPISA), focusing on achieving size uniformity using centrifugation techniques. It examines the effects of stirring speed on vesicle morphology and analyses the internal polymer‐rich structure using fluorescence correlation ...

Asymptotic stability of traveling wave solutions for perturbations with algebraic decay [PDF]
For a class of scalar partial differential equations that incorporate convection, diffusion, and possibly dispersion in one space and one time dimension, the stability of traveling wave solutions is investigated. If the initial perturbation of the traveling wave profile decays at an algebraic rate, then the solution is shown to converge to a shifted ...

The Regulation of Trace Metal Elements in Cancer Ferroptosis
The induction of ferroptosis inhibits tumor growth, enhances anticancer efficacy, and overcomes drug resistance. Recent evidence shows nonferrous metal elements play a role in ferroptosis. This review focuses on how trace metals regulate ferroptosis processes like iron accumulation, lipid peroxidation, and antioxidant defense.

On the energy decay of a coupled nonlinear suspension bridge problem with nonlinear feedback
In this article, we study a mathematical model for a one-dimensional suspension bridge problem with nonlinear damping. The model takes into consideration the vibration of the bridge deck in the vertical plane and main cable from which the bridge deck is ...

In this article, we aim to investigate the decay characteristics of a system consisting of two viscoelastic wave equations with Dirichlet boundary conditions, where the dispersion term and nonlinear weak damping term are taken into account.

Simulation of Tau Decays in the Herwig++ Event Generator [PDF]
We describe the simulation of tau decays in the Herwig++ event generator, which includes sophisticated modelling of the hadronic currents and full treatment of spin correlation effects. The structure of the simulation makes it easy to add new models of tau decay, change the parameters of the existing models, and use the models from tau decay for the ...

Vacuum Decay in General Relativity [PDF]
We provide a novel, concise and self-contained evaluation of true- and false vacuum decay rates in general relativity. We insist on general covariance and choose observable boundary conditions, which yields the well known false-vacuum decay rate and a new true-vacuum decay rate that differs significantly from prior work.

Generic symmetry analysis of charmonium decay [PDF]
For charmonium's decaying to the final states involving merely light quarks, in light of SU(3) flavor symmetry, a systematic parametrization scheme is established, which involving binary decays, ternary decays and radiative decays.

Elasticity of Diametrically Compressed Microfabricated Woodpile Lattices
Modulus–porosity relationship is derived for woodpile lattices with struts under diametrical compression. The formula presented here that Young's modulus is proportional to the square of the volume fraction E˜ρ2$E \sim \left(\rho\right)^{2}$ is shown to be consistent with computations and laboratory experiments on 3D‐printed samples.

General one-loop formulas for decay $$h\rightarrow Z\gamma $$ h→Zγ
Radiative corrections to the decay $$h\rightarrow Z\gamma $$ h→Zγ are evaluated in the one-loop approximation. The unitary gauge is used. The analytic result is expressed in terms of the Passarino-Veltman functions.
