Generic symmetry analysis of charmonium decay

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
For charmonium's decaying to the final states involving merely light quarks, in light of SU(3) flavor symmetry, a systematic parametrization scheme is established, which involving binary decays, ternary decays and radiative decays.

Dark Matter Gravitinos and Baryons via Q-ball decay in the Gauge-Mediated MSSM

open access: yes, 2012
We show that late Q-ball decay in the MSSM with gauge-mediated SUSY breaking can provide a natural source of non-thermal NLSPs which subsequently decay to gravitino dark matter without violating nucleosynthesis constraints.

Almost sure stability with general decay rate of neutral stochastic pantograph equations with Markovian switching

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2019
This paper focuses on the general decay stability of nonlinear neutral stochastic pantograph equations with Markovian switching (NSPEwMSs). Under the local Lipschitz condition and non-linear growth condition, the existence and almost sure stability with ...

CALPHAD‐Guided Prediction and Interpretation of Phase Formation in Ta–Mo–Cr–Ti–Al Refractory High‐Entropy Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study designs Ta–Mo–Cr–Ti–Al refractory high‐entropy alloys with a disordered body‐centered‐cubic A2 crystal structure aiming for improved ductility, lower density, and oxidation resistance. Four alloy compositions are identified by thermodynamic calculations.

Vacuum Decay in General Relativity

open access: yes, 2018
We provide a novel, concise and self-contained evaluation of true- and false vacuum decay rates in general relativity. We insist on general covariance and choose observable boundary conditions, which yields the well known false-vacuum decay rate and a new true-vacuum decay rate that differs significantly from prior work.

Generalized Closeness and Decay-Stability of Some Graphs

open access: yesMathematics
Generalized closeness is a recently defined centrality measure. Decay stability, based on generalized closeness, was studied in [Coroničova Hurajova et al. Math. Scand., 2018, 123: 39-50] and several conjectures on decay stability of certain graph classes were put forward.

Sol–Gel Synthesis of Ca2.5Ag0.3Sm0.2Co4O9 Semiconducting Materials for Thermoelectric Applications in Aerospace Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Ca2.5Ag0.3Sm0.2Co4O9 semiconductor materials are synthesized and produced in this study using the sol–gel and cold pressing techniques for thermoelectric generator applications. As template samples are added, the Seebeck coefficient and power factor values rise, peaking at 800 °C for Ca2.5Ag0.3Sm0.2Co4O9 at 274.47 μV K−1 and 0.58 mW mK−2, respectively.

Investigation of Oxide Dispersion Strengthening Effect on the Strength of Diffusion‐Bonded AISI304 Parts

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Experiments for reinforcing the diffusion bonding plane by the oxide dispersion strengthening effect are presented. Small ceramic particles (0.5 and 50 μm, respectively) are incorporated. Furthermore, ceramic particles help to penetrate stable passivation layers, enabling atomic diffusion across bonding planes. Since a ceramic–metallic interface cannot
