Memory function on dielectric relaxation [PDF]
[EN] The second-order memory function ~SOMF! for the dicyclohexylmetyl-2metyl succinate is obtained by using simple numerical manipulation of the experimental dielectric data. According to the prescription given in a previous paper @J. Chem. Phys. 109,

Relaxation function of 3d xy model [PDF]
The Method of Mori has been extended in an eftort to study the relaxation function. The difficulty posed by continued fractions has been in some special cases overcome to obtain exact solutions for the relaxation function.

General decay rate of a weakly dissipative viscoelastic equation with a general damping [PDF]
In this paper, we consider a weakly dissipative viscoelastic equation with a nonlinear damping. A general decay rate is proved for a wide class of relaxation functions. To support our theoretical findings, some numerical results are provided.

RAFFn relaxation rate functions [PDF]
In the present study we derive expressions for relaxation rate functions due to dipolar interactions between identical spins in the rotating frames of rank greater than or equal to 3. The rotating frames are produced due to fictitious magnetic field as generated by amplitude and frequency modulated radiofrequency (RF) pulses operating in non-adiabatic ...

In this paper, we study the long-time behavior of a weakly dissipative viscoelastic equation with variable exponent nonlinearity of the form utt+Δ2u−∫0tg(t−s)Δu(s)ds+a|ut|n(·)−2ut−Δut=0, where n(.) is a continuous function satisfying some assumptions and

Recent Advances in the Calculation of Dynamical Correlation Functions
We review various theoretical methods that have been used in recent years to calculate dynamical correlation functions of many-body systems. Time-dependent correlation functions and their associated frequency spectral densities are the quantities of ...

Functional Relaxation and Guided Imagery as Complementary Therapy in Asthma: A Randomized Controlled Clinical Trial [PDF]
Background: Asthma is a frequently disabling and almost invariably distressing disease that has a high overall prevalence. Although relaxation techniques and hypnotherapeutic interventions have proven their effectiveness in numerous trials, relaxation ...

Method for determining the mechanical characteristics of viscoelastic soils
Experimental studies of processes in soil foundations under load show that soils exhibit viscoelastic properties. The article presents the method for determining the mechanical characteristics of viscoelastic soil.
