On the Decay of Bounded Semigroup on the Domain of its Generator [PDF]

open access: yesVietnam Journal of Mathematics, 2014
The present paper considers the relation between two results dealing with bounded strongly continuous semigroups \(S(t)\) in a Banach space \(E\). The first (I) is due to \textit{Yu. I. Lyubich} and \textit{Vu Quôc Phóng} [Stud. Math. 88, No.~1, 37--42 (1988; Zbl 0639.34050)] and says that, if the intersection of the spectrum \(\sigma(A)\) of the ...

Stabilized Intermediate Phase Via Pseudo‐Halide Anions Toward Highly Efficient and Light‐Soaking Stable Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
The formate pseudo‐halide anion is strategically introduced at the buried interface to stabilize the intermediate phases formed during perovskite crystallization. The controlled crystallization enhances crystallinity and alleviates tensile strain, eliminating residual PbI2 near the buried interface.

Decay Estimates for a Lamé Inverse Problem Involving Source and Damping Term with Variable-Exponent Nonlinearities

open access: yesAxioms
We investigate an inverse problem involving source and damping term with variable-exponent nonlinearities. We establish adequate conditions on the initial data for the decay of solutions as the integral overdetermination approaches zero over time within ...

In Situ Constructed Magnetic Core‐Shell Hydrogen‐Bonded Organic Framework‐on‐Metal–Organic Framework Structure: an Efficient Catalyst for Peroxymonosulfate Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, a magnetic core‐shell catalyst (HOF‐on‐Fe3O4/ZIF‐67) is successfully synthesized, consisting of a metal–organic framework (ZIF‐67) with magnetic Fe3O4 as the core and a porous hydrogen‐bonded organic framework (HOF) as the shell. The catalyst efficiently activated peroxymonosulfate, resulting in rapid and effective removal of water ...

Vacuum Decay in General Relativity

open access: yes, 2018
We provide a novel, concise and self-contained evaluation of true- and false vacuum decay rates in general relativity. We insist on general covariance and choose observable boundary conditions, which yields the well known false-vacuum decay rate and a new true-vacuum decay rate that differs significantly from prior work.

Hydrogel‐Based Photothermal‐Catalytic Membrane for Efficient Cogeneration of Freshwater and Hydrogen in Membrane Distillation System

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work presents an overview of the PTC‐VMD system for water‐hydrogen co‐generation. a) Illustration of the hydrogel‐based PTC membrane and the co‐generation of water and hydrogen. b) Structure of the PTC‐VMD system and the functions of each component layer.

In‐Situ Growth of 2D MOFs as a Molecular Sieving Layer on SnS2 Nanoflakes for Realizing Ultraselective H2S Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
The ultraselective H2S detection of the ZIF‐L/SnS2 heterostructure is demonstrated. The introduction of 2‐dimensional (2D) breathable ZIF‐L results in a substantial increase in H2S selectivity attributable to the molecular sieving effect, which impedes the permeation of gases with large kinetic diameters and high polarity.

Decay of Fourier Transforms and Generalized Besov Spaces

open access: yesConstructive Mathematical Analysis, 2020
A characterization of the generalized Lipschitz and Besov spaces in terms of decay of Fourier transforms is given.\ In particular, necessary and sufficient conditions of Titchmarsh type are obtained.\ The method is based on two-sided estimate for the rate of approximation of a $\beta$-admissible family of multipliers operators in terms of decay ...
