New general decay results for a Moore–Gibson–Thompson equation with memory

Applicable Analysis, 2020
In this paper, we consider the Moore–Gibson–Thompson equation with a memory term in the subcritical case, which arises in high-frequency ultrasound applications accounting for thermal flux and molecular relaxation times.

Rare Decays and the Fourth Generation

Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences, 1989
Rare decays are quite sensitive1 to physics beyond the Standard Model (SM), due to the effects of virtual, new, heavy particles (i.e., a fourth generation, SUSY, charged Higgs, E6 exotic fermions,…). These new contributions can either enhance or suppress (sometimes quite substantially) the rates for rare processes compared to the corresponding SM ...

On the decay of generalized Swihart waves

Physics of the Solid State, 1999
For Josephson junctions in sandwich geometry and in thin-film geometry we formulate the equations of nonlocal electrodynamics which take account of the influence of normal electrons in superconductors. On the basis of these equations we examine the spectrum and decay of generalized Swihart waves.

General Decay Stability for Nonautonomous Neutral Stochastic Systems With Time-Varying Delays and Markovian Switching

IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, 2020
A new type of asymptotic stability for nonlinear hybrid neutral stochastic systems with constant delays was investigated recently, where the criteria depended on the delays’ sizes.

Decay of Conservation Laws and Their Generating Functions

Acta Applicandae Mathematicae, 1995
The paper deals with decay velocity of the quantities which are conserved in absense of dissipation. The decay velocity (or the ``balance law'') may be found explicitly using the generating function of the conservation law. The general approach is illustrated by a certain system of MHD equations for incompressible magnetofluids.

General decay synchronisation of discontinuous fuzzy neural networks with discrete and distributed time-delays via nonlinear feedback control

International Journal of Systems Science, 2020
This paper aims to provide a new framework to study the general decay synchronisation analysis of a class of fuzzy neural networks with discontinuous activations, discrete and distributed time-delays.

Charmless decays of bottom mesons and a fourth generation

Physical Review Letters, 1987
B decays to charmless inclusive final states are discussed. The generic process is the loop-induced b..-->..sg/sup */, g/sup */ being an on-shell or off-shell gluon. We include the cases when the gluon momentum is lightlike, timelike, and spacelike. The timelike case includes g/sup */..-->..qq-bar and gg splitup. Our findings are as follows: (1) B(b..--

Fourth generation and nucleon decay in supersymmetric theories

Physical Review D, 1987
Analysis of nucleon decay in N=1 supergravity unified models including the effect of a fourth generation of matter is given. Experimental constraints from nucleon-lifetime limits on the Kobayashi-Maskawa (KM) matrix that enters nucleon decay are obtained.

The effect of fibrin(ogen) on thrombin generation and decay

Thrombosis and Haemostasis, 2014
SummaryDefibrination causes a ~30% decrease of thrombin generation (TG) which can be restored by adding native fibrinogen in its original concentration (3 mg/ml). The fibrinogen variant γA/γ′, which binds thrombin with high affinity, is over four times more efficient in this respect than the more common γA/γA form.
