Symmetric general linear methods [PDF]
The article considers symmetric general linear methods, a class of numerical time integration methods which, like symmetric Runge--Kutta methods, are applicable to general time--reversible differential equations, not just those derived from separable second--order problems.

General linear methods for linear DAEs [PDF]
For linear differential-algebraic equations (DAEs) with properly stated leading terms the property of being numerically qualified guarantees that qualitative properties of DAE solutions are reflected by the numerical approximations. In this case BDF and Runge-Kutta methods integrate the inherent regular ODE.

Permutation inference for the general linear model [PDF]
Permutation methods can provide exact control of false positives and allow the use of non-standard statistics, making only weak assumptions about the data.

Implementation of explicit Nordsieck methods with inherent quadratic stability
The present paper deals with the implementation in a variable-step algorithm of general linear methods in Nordsieck form with inherent quadratic stability and large stability regions constructed recently by Braś and Cardone. Various implementation issues

Nordsieck methods with inherent quadratic stability
We derive suffcient conditions which guarantee that the stability polynomial of Nordsieck method for ordinary differential equations has only two nonzero roots. Examples of such methods up to order four are presented which are A-and L-stable.
