A generalized inverse method for asymptotic linear programming
Mathematical Programming, 1989The paper describes an efficient method for computing the solution x(t) of the system of equations \((A+tB)x=b\). It is shown that \textit{J. H. Wilkinson's} factorization [Recent applications of generalized inverses, Res. Notes Math. 66, 82-99 (1982; Zbl 0491.65025)] provides the Laurent expansion of x(t) for the case when both A and B are singular ...

G-matrices for algebraically stable general linear methods
Numerical Algorithms, 2009The aim of the paper is to find a \(G\)-matrix explicitly, in terms of the corresponding generalised eigenvectors, using an entirely different technique based on the theory of positive real control systems. This technique is feasible for a larger class of general linear methods (GLMs) than those that are algebraically stable.

Parallel elimination method for general linear systems
Neural Parallel Sci. Comput., 2000Summary: This paper presents an elimination method which is a variant of Gaussian elimination that works from middle outword rather than top down for parallel solution of general linear system \(Ax= b\). This elimination process results in an Alternate Quadrant Interlocking Factorization (AQIF) of the matrix \(A\); \(A= WZ\). A characterization for the
