Generalized Rationing Problems and Solutions [PDF]
An extension of the standard rationing model is introduced. Agents are not only identified by their respective claims on some amount of a scarce resource, but also by some exogenous ex-ante conditions (initial stock of resource or net worth of agents, for instance), different from claims.

The General Supersymmetric Solution of Topologically Massive Supergravity
We find the general fully non-linear solution of topologically massive supergravity admitting a Killing spinor. It is of plane-wave type, with a null Killing vector field.

The General Warped Solution with Conical Branes in Six-dimensional Supergravity [PDF]
We present the general regular warped solution with 4D Minkowski spacetime in six-dimensional gauged supergravity. In this framework, we can easily embed multiple conical branes into the warped geometry by choosing an undetermined holomorphic function ...

Generating Cosmological Solutions from Known Solutions [PDF]
We consider three methods by which one can generate new cosmological models. Two of these are based on the Lorentzian structure of spacetime. In a Lorentzian manifold there can exist horizons that separate regions of spacetime that can be interpreted as cosmological models from others that have the character of ``black holes.'' A number of well known ...

Cosmology in three dimensions: steps towards the general solution
We use covariant and first-order formalism techniques to study the properties of general relativistic cosmology in three dimensions. The covariant approach provides an irreducible decomposition of the relativistic equations, which allows for a ...

Solution Generating with Perfect Fluids [PDF]
We apply a technique, due to Stephani, for generating solutions of the Einstein-perfect fluid equations. This technique is similar to the vacuum solution generating techniques of Ehlers, Harrison, Geroch and others. We start with a ``seed'' solution of the Einstein-perfect fluid equations with a Killing vector.

Formation thermodynamic parameters for three cocrystals of carbamazepine (CBZ) with structurally related coformers (benzamide (BZA), para-hydroxybenzamide (4-OH-BZA) and isonicotinamide (INAM)) were determined by experimental (cocrystal solubility and ...

General solution to a higher-order linear difference equation and existence of bounded solutions
We present a closed-form formula for the general solution to the difference equation x n + k − q n x n = f n , n ∈ N 0 , $$x_{n+k}-q_{n}x_{n}=f_{n},\quad n\in \mathbb {N}_{0}, $$ where k ∈ N $k\in \mathbb {N}$ , ( q n ) n ∈ N 0 $(q_{n})_{n\in \mathbb {N ...
