O Liniowych Zagadnieniach Dyskretnej Teorii Sprężystości. I.

open access: yesEngineering Transactions, 1972
The paper presents the general system of equations and boundary conditions of the discrete theory of elasticity describing the behaviour of interacting dynamic systems consisting of rigid bodies subject to small rotations and displacements from a ...

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

A hybrid fractional optimal control for a novel Coronavirus (2019-nCov) mathematical model

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Research, 2021
Introduction: Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis of our time and the greatest challenge we have faced since world war two. To describe this disease mathematically, we noted that COVID-19, due to uncertainties associated to

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Solutions of several general quadratic partial differential-difference equations in ℂ2

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
In this article, we have introduced general transformation to solving the general quadratic equations. It is of interest to know about the existence and form of the solutions of general quadratic functional equations.

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

Symmetric nonlinear solvable system of difference equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
We show the theoretical solvability of the system of difference equations $$x_{n+k}=\frac{y_{n+l}y_n-cd}{y_{n+l}+y_n-c-d},\quad y_{n+k}=\frac{x_{n+l}x_n-cd}{x_{n+l}+x_n-c-d},\quad n\in\mathbb{N}_0,$$ where $k\in\mathbb{N}$, $l\in\mathbb{N}_0 ...

A family of quasi-variable meshes high-resolution compact operator scheme for Burger's-Huxley, and Burger's-Fisher equation

open access: yesMathematics in Applied Sciences and Engineering, 2020
We describe a quasi-variable meshes implicit compact finite-difference discretization having an accuracy of order four in the spatial direction and second-order in the temporal direction for obtaining numerical solution values of generalized Burger’s ...

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Nonequilibrium thermodynamics of turbulence and stochastic fluid systems

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2020
Fluid systems are found in the Universe at various scales. Turbulence as a complex form of fluid motion far from thermodynamic equilibrium remains one of the most challenging problems in physics.
