Pinning control of complex networks with general topology

IEEE ICCA 2010, 2010
This paper focuses on the stability of complex dynamical networks with general topology. Compared with the previous work, the outer and inner coupling matrices of complex networks are considered to have no restrictions. Control of such networks is investigated by applying the local feedback to a fraction of nodes.

Topology identification of an uncertain general complex dynamical network

2008 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2008
In real-world complex networks, there exists many uncertain information, such as uncertain topological structures and uncertain system parameters. Without question, the topology identification and parameter identification are two traditionally challenging questions in complex networks.

Adaptive-impulsive synchronization of general complex networks with uncertain topology

2013 Ninth International Conference on Natural Computation (ICNC), 2013
This paper investigates the impulsive synchronization of general complex dynamical networks with uncertain topology via adaptive coupling. Based on the generalized Bar-balat's lemma, two general adaptive-impulsive synchronization criteria are proposed for the uncertain general complex networks, with non-delayed and delayed coupling.

Generation of scale-free topology in complex networks by phase entrainment

International Journal of Systems Science, 2009
A collection of connected phase oscillators, initially unsynchronised, are subjected to a growing process. In such a process, pacemaker oscillators attach to the original network following an exclusively dynamical criterion oriented to entrain the network.

Complexity of generic biochemical circuits: topology versus strength of interactions

Physical Biology, 2016
The historical focus on network topology as a determinant of biological function is still largely maintained today, illustrated by the rise of structure-only approaches to network analysis. However, biochemical circuits and genetic regulatory networks are defined both by their topology and by a multitude of continuously adjustable parameters, such as ...
