Generation of Magnetic Fields

2018
The origin of magnetic fields with large coherent length, called cosmological magnetic fields, has been an open question, although many models are proposed. It has been believed that cosmological magnetic fields are the resultant of amplification by the dynamo mechanism.

Field Equations of General Relativity

2020
The core of general relativity are the Einstein field equations, which relate curvature to energy and momentum. This chapter introduces curvature and the energy-momentum tensor to derive tensor equations between them that fulfill the correct Newtonian limit—the Einstein field equation.

Generation of Solar Magnetic Fields I

1983
In this lecture we continue our discussion concerning the generation of magnetic fields from the motion of conducting fluids. We proposed the “short sudden” idealization, which led to equation (17) in the preceding lecture. Vj in that equation is the large scale, steady fluid velocity that continually shears the field.

Generation of Cosmic Magnetic Fields

1990
The generation of magnetic fields by dynamo action of cosmic turbulent plasmas is considered. Three levels of the consideration are discussed: (1) the mean field behaviour, (2) deviations from the mean field, i.e. magnetic fluctuations, and (3) the generation and distribution of random magnetic field in the random flow of a conducting plasma.

Generation of magnetic fields : various multipolar seed fields

2007
Abstract: The exact solution for the kinematic dynamo in spherical coordinates (r, theta, phi) is given by Callebaut [1] when the azimuthal velocity is supposed to be a given, but axbitraxy, function of r and 79 only. Using a bipolar seed field yielded a qualitative agreement with the sunspot butterfly diagram and the polar faculae butterfly diagram ...
