Duality for nonsmooth mathematical programming problems with equilibrium constraints
In this paper, we consider the mathematical programs with equilibrium constraints (MPECs) in Banach space. The objective function and functions in the constraint part are assumed to be lower semicontinuous.

A large‐aperture, high focusing efficiency and polarization‐independent THz single‐layer achromatic metalens is reported via discrete multi‐wavelength achromatic design and global optimization algorithm. The fabricated metalens exhibits a largest diameter of 2.21 cm, excellent achromatic performance, extremely high average focusing efficiency (> 46 ...

This review offers a comprehensive comparison between perovskites and perovskite‐inspired materials (PIMs), focusing on their crystal structures, electronic properties, and chemical compositions. It evaluates the applicability of machine learning (ML) descriptors and models across both material classes.

Generalized Convexity in Multiobjective Programming
Consider a multicriteria or vector optimization problem of the form: ``Minimize \(f(x)= (f_1(x),\dots\), \(f_n(x))\) subject to \(x\in S\) and \(g(x)\leq 0\).'' The authors discuss the role played by the concepts of KT-invexity and KT-pseudoinvexity in connection with the establishment of Kuhn-Tucker optimality conditions for weakly efficient points.

Conformal Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces: A Cylindrical Geometry Perspective
Cylindrical reconfigurable intelligent surfaces are explored for low‐complexity beam steering using one‐bit meta‐atoms. A multi‐level modeling approach, including optimization‐based synthesis, demonstrates that even minimal hardware can support directive scattering.

Starlikeness and Convexity of Generalized Bessel-Maitland Function
The main objective of this research is to examine a specific sufficiency criteria for the starlikeness and convexity of order δ, k-uniform starlikeness, k-uniform convexity, lemniscate starlikeness and convexity, exponential starlikeness and convexity ...

Degradation Mechanism of Phosphate‐Based Li‐NASICON Conductors in Alkaline Environment
The presence of water in the cathode of a Li‐air battery shifts reactions to produce LiOH, creating a corrosive, alkaline environment. This study investigates the alkaline stability of the common Li‐NASICON solid‐state conductor chemistries through a systematic experimental study combined with computational modeling to understand the degradation ...

Horofunction Compactifications of Symmetric Spaces
We consider horofunction compactifications of symmetric spaces with respect to invariant Finsler metrics. We show that any (generalized) Satake compactification can be realized as a horofunction compactification with respect to a polyhedral Finsler ...
