Generalization of the Notion of Convolution

1994
In Chapter 11 we considered H-convolutions of generalized H-transforms. These convolutions are bilinear, commutative and associative operations in the linear space and possess the following property $$ \left( {H\left( {f\mathop {*g}\limits^a } \right)} \right)\left( x \right) = x^a \left( {Hf} \right)\left( x \right)\left( {Hg} \right)\left( x ...

A Generalised Hankel Convolution

SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis, 1985
A Hankel-convolution operation is defined in the classical sense of Hirschman and Cholewinski. In this paper, the author extends this definition to a class of generalized functions analogous to that introduced by Zemanian. Algebraic properties of the convolution are examined and existence and significance of an identity element are also discussed.

Polarities and generalized extremal convolutions

2016
Summary: A reflection on the inceptive role of Moreau in various studies is presented. Gustave Choquet (1915-2006), Jean Jacques Moreau (1923-2014) and Ennio De Giorgi (1928-1996) inspired developments of variational analysis. I had the fortune to know them all and to follow their tracks.
