Generate and Repair Machine Translation [PDF]

open access: yesComputational Intelligence, 2002
We propose Generate and Repair Machine Translation (GRMT), a constraint–based approach to machine translation that focuses on accurate translation output. GRMT performs the translation by generating a Translation Candidate (TC), verifying the syntax and semantics of the TC and repairing the TC when required.

Generation, production, and translation [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 1965 conference on Computational linguistics -, 1965
The notions of generation, production, synthesis etc. are analyzed, with the conclusion, that the description of a natural language should have a creative and a transductive part. As a system meeting the principal known conditions, a sequence of pushdown store transducers, interpreted as a stratificational language description, is proposed.

Generative Neural Machine Translation

open access: yesCoRR, 2018
We introduce Generative Neural Machine Translation (GNMT), a latent variable architecture which is designed to model the semantics of the source and target sentences. We modify an encoder-decoder translation model by adding a latent variable as a language agnostic representation which is encouraged to learn the meaning of the sentence.

Automatic Generation of Model Translations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The translation of information between heterogeneous representations is a long standing issue. With the large spreading of cooperative applications fostered by the advent of the Internet the problem has gained more and more attention but there are still few and partial solutions.

Fuzzy information recognition and translation processing in English interpretation based on a generalized maximum likelihood ratio algorithm [PDF]

open access: yesPeerJ Computer Science
English interpretation plays a vital role as a critical link in cross-language communication. However, there are various types of ambiguous information in many interpreting scenarios, such as ambiguity, ambiguous vocabulary, and syntactic structures ...

Novel Gabor-Type Transform and Weighted Uncertainty Principles

open access: yesMathematics
The linear canonical Fourier transform is one of the most celebrated time-frequency tools for analyzing non-transient signals. In this paper, we will introduce and study the deformed Gabor transform associated with the linear canonical Dunkl transform ...

A Note on Minimal Translation Graphs in Euclidean Space

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
In this note, we give a characterization of a class of minimal translation graphs generated by planar curves. Precisely, we prove that a hypersurface that can be written as the sum of n planar curves is either a hyperplane or a cylinder on the ...

Generalized weighted Besov spaces on the Bessel hypergroup

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces and Applications, 2006
In this paper we study generalized weighted Besov type spaces on the Bessel-Kingman hypergroup. We give different characterizations of these spaces in terms of generalized convolution with a kind of smooth functions and by means of generalized ...

On integral representation of thetranslation operator

open access: yesMathematical Modelling and Analysis, 2012
The formulation in the explicit form of quantum expression of the one-dimensional translation operator as well as Hermitian operator of momentum and its eigenfunctions are presented.
