On generalized Peano derivatives [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions of the American Mathematical Society, 1983
A function F F is said to have a generalized n n th Peano derivative at x x if F F is continuous in a neighborhood of x x and if there exists a positive integer k k such that a k k th primitive of F F in the ...

Pre‐analytical optimization of cell‐free DNA and extracellular vesicle‐derived DNA for mutation detection in liquid biopsies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

The Unruh effect revisited

open access: yes, 2011
A new and exact derivation of the Bogoliubov coefficients is obtained for the simplest case of a spinless, neutral, massive field in a uniformly accelerated frame with a constant acceleration.

GENERALIZED HIGHER DERIVATIONS [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the Australian Mathematical Society, 2012
AbstractA type of generalized higher derivation consisting of a collection of self-mappings of a ring associated with a monoid, and here called a D-structure, is studied. Such structures were previously used to define various kinds of ‘skew’ or ‘twisted’ monoid rings. We show how certain gradings by monoids define D-structures.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

On Prime Near-Rings with Generalized Derivation

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2008
Let N be a 3-prime 2-torsion-free zero-symmetric left near-ring with multiplicative center Z. We prove that if N admits a nonzero generalized derivation f such that f(N)⊆Z, then N is a commutative ring. We also discuss some related properties.

Asymptotic aspect of derivations in Banach algebras

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2017
We prove that every approximate linear left derivation on a semisimple Banach algebra is continuous. Also, we consider linear derivations on Banach algebras and we first study the conditions for a linear derivation on a Banach algebra.

On the Equation of Motion for a Fast Moving Small Object in the Strong Field Point Particle Limit

open access: yes, 2007
We give a straightforward and divergence free derivation of the equation of motion for a small but finite object in an arbitrary background using strong field point particle limit.

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...
