Pathways and pitfalls: a qualitative study of student experiences in biomedical science education
Biomedical science students from underrepresented backgrounds face barriers including financial strain, disrupted laboratory access and cultural exclusion. Peer networks provide vital support when institutional systems are difficult to navigate. To create inclusive learning environments and achieve academic success, educators should blend active, hands‐

Generalized Toda theory from six dimensions and the conifold
Recently, a physical derivation of the Alday-Gaiotto-Tachikawa correspondence has been put forward. A crucial role is played by the complex Chern-Simons theory arising in the 3d-3d correspondence, whose boundary modes lead to Toda theory on a Riemann ...

This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...

Lie Derivations on Generalized Matrix Algebras by Local Actions
Let G=G(A,B,M,N) be a generalized matrix algebra. A linear map Δ:G→G is called a Lie derivation at E∈G if Δ([U,V])=[Δ(U),V]+[U,Δ(V)] for all pairs U,V∈G such that UV=E.

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Let $\mathcal{R}$ be a prime ring and $L$ a nonzero square closed Lie ideal of $\mathcal{R}$. Suppose $F,G,H\colon \mathcal{R}\to \mathcal{R}$\break are three multiplicative (generalized)-derivations associated with the maps $\delta,g, h\colon \mathcal{R}

Let 𝐴 be an algebra, and let 𝜃, 𝜙 be ring automorphisms of 𝐴. An additive mapping 𝐻∶𝐴→𝐴 is called a (𝜃,𝜙)-derivation if 𝐻(𝑥𝑦)=𝐻(𝑥)𝜃(𝑦)+𝜙(𝑥)𝐻(𝑦) for all 𝑥,𝑦∈𝐴.

ABSTRACT Background SOX1 antibody‐positive paraneoplastic neurological syndromes (PNS) exhibit significant population‐specific clinical heterogeneity. While Western cohorts predominantly manifest Lambert‐Eaton myasthenic syndrome (65%–80%), comprehensive clinical characterization and treatment response data in Asian populations remain critically ...

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

2-Local Derivations on the Twisted Heisenberg–Virasoro Algebra
2-local derivation is a generalized derivation for a Lie algebra, which plays an important role to the study of local properties of the structure of the Lie algebra.
