On sparse reflexive generalized inverse

open access: yesOperations Research Letters, 2018
We study sparse generalized inverses $H$ of a rank-$r$ real matrix $A$. We give a construction for reflexive generalized inverses having at most $r^2$ nonzeros. For $r=1$ and for $r=2$ with $A$ nonnegative, we demonstrate how to minimize the (vector) 1-norm over reflexive generalized inverses.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

CX3CL1 in Early Detection of Alzheimer's Disease: Plasma Dynamics Across Age and Disease Stages

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Backgrounds Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by amyloid‐beta plaques, tau tangles, and neuroinflammation. C‐X3‐C motif chemokine ligand 1 (CX3CL1, also known as fractalkine), a neuroimmune chemokine implicated in AD pathogenesis, shows inconsistent alterations in plasma/serum across studies.

Conditions for Existence, Representations, and Computation of Matrix Generalized Inverses

open access: yesComplexity, 2017
Conditions for the existence and representations of 2-, 1-, and 1,2-inverses which satisfy certain conditions on ranges and/or null spaces are introduced.

Smoothness of generalized inverses

open access: yes, 2012
The paper is largely expository. It is shown that if a(x) is a smooth unital Banach algebra valued function of a parameter x, and if a(x) has a locally bounded generalized inverse in the algebra, then a generalized inverse of a(x) exists which is as ...

Impact of Asymptomatic Intracranial Hemorrhage on Outcome After Endovascular Stroke Treatment

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Endovascular treatment (EVT) achieves high rates of recanalization in acute large‐vessel occlusion (LVO) stroke, but functional recovery remains heterogeneous. While symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (sICH) has been well studied, the prognostic impact of asymptomatic intracranial hemorrhage (aICH) after EVT is less certain ...

Computing Tensor Generalized bilateral inverses

open access: yes, 2023
We introduce tensor generalized bilateral inverses (TGBIs) under the Einstein tensor product as an extension of generalized bilateral inverses (GBIs) in the matrix environment.

A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis of the Recurrence of Autoimmune Encephalitis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Autoimmune encephalitis (AE) is a disease with a potential for recurrence, and patients receive immunotherapy to prevent it. However, there is no consensus on the duration of immunotherapy. This study aimed to determine the recurrence rate and identify the risk factors for AE to provide guidance on the duration of immunotherapy ...

A Cubic Class of Iterative Procedures for Finding the Generalized Inverses

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
This article considers the iterative approach for finding the Moore–Penrose inverse of a matrix. A convergence analysis is presented under certain conditions, demonstrating that the scheme attains third-order convergence.
