Iterative Generalized-Likelihood Ratio Test for MIMO Radar
IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing, 2007We consider a multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radar system where both the transmitter and receiver have multiple well-separated subarrays with each subarray containing closely spaced antennas. Because of this general antenna configuration, both the coherent processing gain and the spatial diversity gain can be simultaneously achieved.

A generalized likelihood ratio test for impropriety of complex signals
IEEE Signal Processing Letters, 2006A complex random vector is called improper if it is correlated with its complex conjugate. We present a hypothesis test for impropriety based on a generalized likelihood ratio (GLR). This GLR is invariant to linear transformations on the data, including rotation and scaling, because propriety is preserved by linear transformations.

Generalized likelihood ratio test for normal mixtures
Statistica Sinica, 2016Summary: Let \(X_{1},\ldots,X_{n}\) be independent observations with \(X_{i} \sim N(\theta_{i},1)\), where \((\theta_{1},\ldots,\theta_{n})\) is an unknown vector of normal means. Let \(f_{n}(x) = \sum_{i=1}^{n}(d/dx)P_{n}\{X_{i}\leq x\}/n\) be the average marginal density of observations.

One-Step Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test for Subpixel Target Detection in Hyperspectral Imaging
IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, 2020One of the main objectives of hyperspectral image processing is to detect a given target among an unknown background. The standard data to conduct such detection is a reflectance map, where the spectral signatures of each pixel’s components, known as ...

A generalized likelihood ratio test for SAR CCD
2012 Conference Record of the Forty Sixth Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers (ASILOMAR), 2012Coherent change detection (CCD) is a powerful technique for detecting minute disturbances in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imagery. Coherent change detection uses a test statistic to compare, pixel by pixel, two or more SAR images of the same scene. Coherent change detection can detect very small disturbances, not normally visible in SAR or optical ...

Adaptive Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test for Change Detection in SAR Images
IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, 2020Generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT) was widely used in the change detection of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images and employed as a competitive method in many studies.

Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test for Voltage Dip Detection
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2010An alternative detection algorithm, based on the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT), is proposed for the detection of voltage dips in power systems. The proposed method is compared to the classical approaches based on the voltage root mean square.
