Cryptanalysis of the cryptosystems based on the generalized hidden discrete logarithm problem [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Science Journal of Moldova
In this paper, we will solve an important form of hidden discrete logarithm problem (HDLP) and a generalized form of HDLP (GHDLP) over non-commutative associative algebras (FNAAs). We will reduce them to discrete logarithm problem (DLP) in a finite field

Matrix formulae and skein relations for cluster algebras from surfaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
This paper concerns cluster algebras with principal coefficients A(S,M) associated to bordered surfaces (S,M), and is a companion to a concurrent work of the authors with Schiffler [MSW2].

Extending the hyper‐logistic model to the random setting: New theoretical results with real‐world applications

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
We develop a full randomization of the classical hyper‐logistic growth model by obtaining closed‐form expressions for relevant quantities of interest, such as the first probability density function of its solution, the time until a given fixed population is reached, and the population at the inflection point.

A highly accurate numerical method for solving boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik equation

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
A highly accurate numerical method is given for the solution of boundary value problem of generalized Bagley‐Torvik (BgT) equation with Caputo derivative of order 0<β<2$$ 0<\beta <2 $$ by using the collocation‐shooting method (C‐SM). The collocation solution is constructed in the space Sm+1(1)$$ {S}_{m+1}^{(1)} $$ as piecewise polynomials of degree at ...

Hermitian versus holomorphic complex and quaternionic generalized supersymmetries of the M-theory. A classification

open access: yes, 2004
Relying upon the division-algebra classification of Clifford algebras and spinors, a classification of generalized supersymmetries (or, with a slight abuse of language,"generalized supertranslations") is provided.

Existence Analysis of a Three‐Species Memristor Drift‐Diffusion System Coupled to Electric Networks

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The existence of global weak solutions to a partial‐differential‐algebraic system is proved. The system consists of the drift‐diffusion equations for the electron, hole, and oxide vacancy densities in a memristor device, the Poisson equation for the electric potential, and the differential‐algebraic equations for an electric network.

Formulae for the Generalized Drazin Inverse of a Block Matrix in Banach Algebras

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2015
We present some new representations for the generalized Drazin inverse of a block matrix in a Banach algebra under conditions weaker than those used in resent papers on the subject.

Pure infiniteness, stability and C*-algebras of graphs and dynamical systems

open access: yes, 1999
Pure infiniteness (in sense of E.Kirchberg and M.R{\o}rdam) is considered for C*-algebras arising from singly generated dynamical systems. In particular, Cuntz-Krieger algebras and their generalizations, i.e., graph-algebras and O_A of an infinite matrix

From Stability to Chaos: A Complete Classification of the Damped Klein‐Gordon Dynamics

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We investigate the transition between stability and chaos in the damped Klein‐Gordon equation, a fundamental model for wave propagation and energy dissipation. Using semigroup methods and spectral criteria, we derive explicit thresholds that determine when the system exhibits asymptotic stability and when it displays strong chaotic dynamics ...

Analytical and Numerical Soliton Solutions of the Shynaray II‐A Equation Using the G′G,1G$$ \left(\frac{G^{\prime }}{G},\frac{1}{G}\right) $$‐Expansion Method and Regularization‐Based Neural Networks

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Nonlinear differential equations play a fundamental role in modeling complex physical phenomena across solid‐state physics, hydrodynamics, plasma physics, nonlinear optics, and biological systems. This study focuses on the Shynaray II‐A equation, a relatively less‐explored parametric nonlinear partial differential equation that describes ...
