The study of system evolution in generalized amplitude damping is of great significance in quantum information science and quantum computing. As an important quantum noise channel, the generalized amplitude damping channel can describe the general ...

Quantum Brownian motion under generalized position measurements: a converse Zeno scenario
We study the quantum Brownian motion of a harmonic oscillator undergoing a sequence of generalized position measurements. Our exact analytical results capture the interplay of the measurement backaction and dissipation. Here we demonstrate that no freeze-

Tsirelson bounds for generalized Clauser-Horne-Shimony-Holt inequalities
Quantum theory imposes a strict limit on the strength of non-local correlations. It only allows for a violation of the CHSH inequality up to the value 2 sqrt(2), known as Tsirelson's bound. In this note, we consider generalized CHSH inequalities based on

Extremal generalized quantum measurements
A measurement on a section K of the set of states of a finite dimensional C*-algebra is defined as an affine map from K to a probability simplex. Special cases of such sections are used in description of quantum networks, in particular quantum channels ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

In this paper we propose a scheme by using weak-measurement-based pre- and post-flips (WMPPF) to protect the average quantum Fisher information (QFI) in the independent amplitude-damping channel (ADC) for N-qubit GHZ state and generalized N-qubit GHZ ...

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Models of height curves generated using a linear mixed effects model and generalized model were compared. Both tested models were also compared with local models of height curves, which were fitted using a nonlinear regression.
