New Characterizations of SEP Elements in a Ring with Involution
The characterization of SEP elements is a classical problem in generalized inverse theory. Most existing characterizations are formulated in terms of specific algebraic identities.

Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

A robust solution of the generalized polynomial Bezout identity
The authors present a robust algorithm for the computation of all matrices of the generalized polynomial Bézout identity, together with an algorithm for the computation of minimal polynomial basis for the null space of polynomial matrices. This algorithm exploits singular value decompositions of certain real matrices. Two interesting examples enlighten

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.

Generalized apostol-type polynomial matrix and its algebraic properties [PDF]
The aim of this paper is to introduce the generalized Apostol-type polynomial matrix W [m−1,α](x;c,a;λ;µ;ν) and the generalized Apos-tol-type matrix W [m−1,α](c,a;λ;µ;ν).

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

On Type 2 Degenerate Poly-Frobenius-Euler Polynomials
Background: This paper introduces a class of special polynomials called Type 2 degenerate poly-Frobenius-Euler polynomials, defined using the polyexponential function. Motivated by the expanding theory of degenerate versions of classical polynomials, the

Magnetic doping of the topological insulator Bi2Te3 with erbium adatoms induces out‐of‐plane magnetism and breaks time‐reversal symmetry, opening a Dirac gap and driving a Fermi surface transition from hexagonal to star‐of‐David geometry. Microscopy, spectroscopy, and magnetic dichroism reveal atomically controlled magnetic interactions that tailor the
