Power series approximations for two-class generalized processor sharing systems
We develop power series approximations for a discrete-time queueing system with two parallel queues and one processor. If both queues are nonempty, a customer of queue 1 is served with probability ß, and a customer of queue 2 is served with probability 1-

Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor–Related Myositis and Associated Triad Overlap Syndrome
Objective Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) myositis is a rare but a highly morbid condition, particularly with the ICI myositis triad syndrome of myositis, myocarditis, and myasthenia gravis. We report the clinical characteristics of ICI myositis and all‐cause mortality in these patients.

Analysis of the M/G/1 processor-sharing queue with bulk arrivals
We analyze the single server processor-sharing queue for the case of bulk arrivals. We obtain an expression for the expected response time of a job as a function of its size, when the service times of jobs have a generalized hyperexponential distribution

Additive Gaussian Process Regression for Predictive Design of High‐Performance, Printable Silicones
A chemistry‐aware design framework for tuning printable polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) for vat photopolymerization (VPP) is developed using additive Gaussian process (GP) modeling. Polymer network mechanics informs variable groupings, feasible formulation constraints, and interaction variables.

ABSTRACT Statistical Analysis of Generalized Processor Sharing Scheduling
In t,his paper, we consider the problem of providing sta-tistical guarantees (for example, on the tail distribution of delay) under the Generalized Processor Sharing (GPS) scheduling discipline.

Additive manufacturing provides precise control over the placement of continuous fibres within polymer matrices, enabling customised mechanical performance in composite components. This article explores processing strategies, mechanical testing, and modelling approaches for additive manufactured continuous fibre‐reinforced composites.

Call Admission Control Schemes under the Generalized Processor Sharing Scheduling
Provision of Quality-of-Service (QoS) guarantees is an important and challenging issue in the design of integrated-services packet networks. Call admission control is an integral part of the challenge and is closely related to other aspects of networks ...
