Slanted symplectic quadrangles [PDF]
By "slanting" symplectic quadrangles W(F) over fields F, we obtain very simple examples of non-classical generalized quadrangles. We determine the collineation groups of these slanted quadrangles and their groups of projectivities.

Monomial graphs and generalized quadrangles
In this paper, the author proves the nonexistence of certain generalized quadrangles of order \((s,s)\), with \(s\) an odd prime power. This is achieved by considering the graph of points and lines far away from a flag of such a quadrangle, identifying the point and line sets with 3-dimensional vector space over \(\mathrm{GF}(s)\), coordinatizing, and ...

Emerging Materials and Future Strategies for Solid Oxide Electrochemical Cells
Solid oxide electrochemical cells operate under strongly coupled electrochemical and thermodynamic conditions, where performance is constrained by interactions among crystal structure, defect chemistry, and interfacial evolution. This review, based on a structure‐defect‐property‐durability framework, reveals the roles of lattice symmetry and defect ...

Some characterizations of Moufang generalized quadrangles
We prove the longstanding conjecture that the 3-Moufang condition for generalized quadrangles is equivalent to the Moufang condition. We mention some other characterizations of Moufang quadrangles that follow from this result.

We discovered novel materials with giant dielectric constants by combining first‐principles phonon calculations and machine learning. Screening 525 perovskites identified six candidates. RbNbO3 was synthesized under pressure and showed ε ≈ 800–1000. This validates our framework as a powerful tool for high‐performance dielectric materials discovery.

Automorphisms and characterizations of finite generalized quadrangles
Our paper surveys some new developments in the theory of au-tomorphisms and characterizations of finite generalized quadrangles. It is the purpose to mention important new results which did not appear in the following standard works (or surveys) on the ...

This paper presents a high‐speed object pose estimation method that deconstructs objects into geometric components. Inspired by human cognitive generalization, it detects these primitives and infers the 6D pose from their stable spatial configuration.
