On the Generalized Drazin Inverse and Generalized Resolvent [PDF]

open access: yesCzechoslovak Mathematical Journal, 2001
summary:We investigate the generalized Drazin inverse and the generalized resolvent in Banach algebras. The Laurent expansion of the generalized resolvent in Banach algebras is introduced.

A formula for the generalized resolvent of an isometric operator for the exterior of the unit disk

Mathematical Notes, 1973
In this note we establish the relationship between characteristic functions and generalized resolvents of isometric operators for the exterior of the unit disk. A certain sufficient condition is given in terms of characteristic functions that the form of the formula for the generalized resolvent be preserved across the unit circle.

Generalized variational inclusions and generalized resolvent equations in banach spaces [PDF]

open access: yesComputers and Mathematics With Applications, 2005
In this paper, we introduce and study generalized variational inclusions and generalized resolvent equations in real Banach spaces. It is established that generalized variational inclusion problems in uniformly smooth Banach spaces are equivalent to ...

Approximation solvability of nonlinear random(A,η)-resolvent operator equations with random relaxed cocoercive operators [PDF]

open access: yesComputers and Mathematics With Applications, 2009
In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of nonlinear random (A,η)-resolvent operator equations with random relaxed cocoercive operators in Hilbert spaces.

A resolvent operator technique for approximate solving of generalized system mixed variational inequality and fixed point problems [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Mathematics Letters, 2010
The main aim of this work is to use the resolvent operator technique to find the common solutions for a generalized system of relaxed cocoercive mixed variational inequality problems and fixed point problems for Lipschitz mappings in Hilbert spaces.

Resolvent operator technique for generalized implicit variational-like inclusion in Banach space [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2010
A new class of g-η-accretive mappings is introduced and studied in Banach space. By using the properties of g-η-accretive mappings, the concept of resolvent operators associated with the classical m-accretive operators is extended.

Parametric generalized set-valued variational inclusions and resolvent equations [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2004
In this paper, we develop the sensitivity analysis for generalized set-valued variational inclusions and generalized resolvent equations. We establish the equivalence between the parametric generalized set-valued variational inclusions and parametric ...

Generalized Resolvents of Symmetric Operators

Mathematical Notes, 2003
The Krein formula for generalized resolvents is one of the highlights of the theory of extensions of symmetric operators in Hilbert spaces. In the present paper, the authors give another more general version of such a formula for generalized \(U\)-resolvents of the isometric operator \(V\). Each boundary triple \(\Pi\) of \(\{V,V^{-1}\}\) generates the

Generalized Resolvents of an lsometric Operator in a Pontrjagin Space

Zeitschrift für Analysis und ihre Anwendungen, 1985
In this paper the contractive and generalized resolvents of an isometric operator in a Pontrjagin-space are studied. Especially, the domain of the operator is allowed to be degenerate. The resulting formulae are analogous to the nondegenerate case, but the values of the characterising parameter are now linear relations instead of linear operators.

Generalized method of a resolvent operator expansion. II

Journal of Mathematical Physics, 1979
The second part of the present series is devoted to the rearrangement of the Born series in the model space. An application is found in pion–nucleus scattering. We present a generalization of the ’’extended schematical model’’ suggested recently by Hirata et al.
