A Pair of Generalized (α, α)‐Derivations With Identities Related to Prime Ideals

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Let A be an arbitrary ring, α an automorphism of A, I a nonzero ideal of A, and ϒ a prime ideal of A satisfying the condition ϒ⊊αI. This research investigates the interplay between two generalized (α, α)‐derivations, Ω and G (associated with (α, α)‐derivations f and h, respectively), and the resulting characteristics of the quotient ring A/ϒ.

Crack pattern–based machine learning prediction of residual drift capacity in damaged masonry walls

open access: yesComputer-Aided Civil and Infrastructure Engineering, Volume 39, Issue 24, Page 3685-3699, 15 December 2024.
Abstract In this paper, we present a method based on an ensemble of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for the prediction of residual drift capacity in unreinforced damaged masonry walls using as only input the crack pattern. We use an accurate block‐based numerical model to generate mechanically consistent crack patterns induced by external actions (

Knockout of NMDARs in CA1 and dentate gyrus fails to impair temporal control of conditioned behavior in mice

open access: yesHippocampus, Volume 34, Issue 3, Page 126-140, March 2024.
Abstract The hippocampus has been implicated in temporal learning. Plasticity within the hippocampus requires NMDA receptor‐dependent glutamatergic neurotransmission. We tested the prediction that hippocampal NMDA receptors are required for learning about time by testing mice that lack postembryonal NMDARs in the CA1 and dentate gyrus (DG) hippocampal ...

Near braces and p$p$‐deformed braided groups

open access: yesBulletin of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 56, Issue 1, Page 124-139, January 2024.
Abstract Motivated by recent findings on the derivation of parametric noninvolutive solutions of the Yang–Baxter equation, we reconstruct the underlying algebraic structures, called near braces. Using the notion of the near braces we produce new multi‐parametric, nondegenerate, noninvolutive solutions of the set‐theoretic Yang–Baxter equation.

An Algebraic Approach of Topological Indices Connected with Finite Quasigroups

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
In mathematical chemistry, the algebraic polynomial serves as essential for calculating the most accurate expressions of distance‐based, degree‐distance‐based, and degree‐based topological indices. The chemical reactivity of molecules, which includes their tendency to engage in particular chemical processes or go through particular reactions, can be ...

Predicting Emotional Distress, Based on Acquisition, Extinction, Avoidance, and Generalization Learning

open access: yesDepression and Anxiety, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
This prospective study aimed to investigate whether fear conditioning parameters measured at baseline could predict the development of emotional distress over a 6‐month period among 655 first‐year university students. Verbal and behavioral measures of acquisition, extinction, avoidance, and generalization were obtained through an online task at the ...

Graphs Connected to Isotopes of Inverse Property Quasigroups: A Few Applications

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
Many real‐world applications can be modelled as graphs or networks, including social networks and biological networks. The theory of algebraic combinatorics provides tools to analyze the functioning of these networks, and it also contributes to the understanding of complex systems and their dynamics.

Eigenvalues of Relatively Prime Graphs Connected with Finite Quasigroups

open access: yesJournal of Mathematics, Volume 2024, Issue 1, 2024.
A relatively new and rapidly expanding area of mathematics research is the study of graphs’ spectral properties. Spectral graph theory plays a very important role in understanding certifiable applications such as cryptography, combinatorial design, and coding theory.
