Arterial Spin‐Labeling MRI at the Cortical‐CSF Interface: A Novel Biomarker in Alzheimer Disease
ABSTRACT Background/Objective Arterial spin‐labeling (ASL) MRI can measure perfusion signal adjacent to CSF spaces and may provide information regarding CSF‐adjacent water transport physiology. We developed an automated pipeline to extract cortical‐CSF interface (IF) perfusion for comparison between Alzheimer disease (AD) and cognitively normal ...

Topological near fields generated by topological structures
The central idea of metamaterials and metaoptics is that, besides their base materials, the geometry of structures offers a broad extra dimension to explore for exotic functionalities. Here, we discover that the topology of structures fundamentally dictates the topological properties of optical fields and offers a new dimension to exploit for optical ...

ABSTRACT Objective Progression independent of relapse activity is a major determinant of long‐term disability in multiple sclerosis, but its immunopathologic basis remains incompletely understood. We investigated whether relapse‐independent progression in radiologically stable relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis is associated with distinct ...

Generalized open sets in grill N-topology
The aim of this paper is to give a systematic development of grill N-topological spaces and discuss a few properties of local function. We build a topology for the corresponding grill by using the local function.

On generalized topological molecular lattices [PDF]
In this paper, we introduce the concept of the generalized topological molecular lattices as a generalization of Wang's topological molecular lattices, topological spaces, fuzzy topological spaces, L-fuzzy topological spaces and soft topological spaces.

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Generalized Normal Product Adjacency in Digital Topology
We study properties of Cartesian products of digital images for which adjacencies based on the normal product adjacency are used. We show that the use of such adjacencies lets us obtain many "product properties" for which the analogous statement is ...

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.
