Criteria for generalized translation-invariant frames
This paper provides new sufficient and necessary conditions for the frame property of generalized translation-invariant systems. The conditions are formulated inthe Fourier domain and consist of estimates involving the upper and lower frame bound.

Rapid screening of staphylokinase protein variants using an unpurified cell‐free expression system
An unpurified cell‐free protein synthesis (CFPS) platform enables rapid functional screening of staphylokinase variants. Direct plasminogen‐activation assays performed in microplate format provide real‐time activity readouts, allowing rapid identification and ranking of variants with improved or reduced fibrinolytic activity without protein ...

Automated generalization of translation examples [PDF]
Previous work has shown that adding generalization of the examples in the corpus of an example-based machine translation (EBMT) system can reduce the required amount of pretranslated example text by as much as an order of magnitude for Spanish-English and French-English EBMT.

Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Testing the generalized functional translation model
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the generalized functional model that allows someone to work at the same intensity during a training session as was achieved during a graded exercise test (GXT) by downregulating the workload to account for ...
