A generalized \(a\)-Wright convexity and related functional equation
The authors prove that if \(\varphi : I \to \mathbb{R}\) is a nonconstant continuous solutions of the equation \[ \varphi \bigl(M(x,y)\bigr) + \varphi \bigl(N(x,y)\bigr) = \varphi(x) + \varphi (y), \] where \(I\) is an interval and \(M,N : I \times I \to I\) are means with the strict internality property, then for every lower semicontinuous solution ...

Uncertain Short‐Run Restrictions and Statistically Identified Structural Vector Autoregressions
ABSTRACT This study proposes a combination of a statistical identification approach with potentially invalid short‐run zero restrictions. The estimator shrinks towards imposed restrictions and stops shrinkage when the data provide evidence against a restriction.
