On the Generating Function for Intervals in Young's Lattice
The Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, 2023 In this paper, we study a family of generating functions whose coefficients are polynomials that enumerate partitions in lower order ideals of Young's lattice. Our main result is that this family satisfies a rational recursion and are therefore rational functions.

Preferences on Intervals: a general framework
, 2005 I present a general framework for the comparison of alternatives to which (possibly) an interval of values is associated. Some representation theorems for the existence of the intervals are discussed as well the possibility ot explicitly take into account situations of hesitation. Some appropriate logical formalisms are discussed for such a purpose.
