ABSTRACT Secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) is a common complication in patients receiving maintenance dialysis, driven by calcium and phosphate metabolism disturbances. Calcimimetics are central to the management of SHPT by enhancing calcium‐sensing receptor sensitivity and reducing parathyroid hormone secretion.

Genetic analysis of yield, yield-components and related phenological traits of maize (Zea mays L.) to breed under moisture stress conditions [PDF]
Improved drought-tolerant maize hybrids would significantly reduce water consumption and increase yield in arid environments. Our knowledge about genetic parameters is very essential before starting a successful breeding program. The present research was

Generalized mean-variance analysis and robust portfolio diversification [PDF]
This paper presents a new approach to portfolio optimisation that we call generalised mean-variance (GMV) analysis. One important case of this approach is based on the stocks m-tile (or quantile): if m = n, where n is the number of stocks, m-tile membership becomes rank.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

GENERATION MEAN ANALYSIS USING GENERATION VARIANCE IN MAIZE TRAITS
This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of gene action on grain yield and yield components of maize(Zea mays L.) using generation mean analysis method for six generations (P₁, P₂, F₁,F₂, Bc₁ and Bc₂ )of two crosses of maize (H40×un44052)and (Ik8×Hs). The analysis of variance shows significant differences between generation means.

Performance Analysis of AIM-K-means & K-means in Quality Cluster Generation
Among all the partition based clustering algorithms K-means is the most popular and well known method. It generally shows impressive results even in considerably large data sets. The computational complexity of K-means does not suffer from the size of the data set.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Performance Analysis of Improved K-Means & K-Means in Cluster Generation
K-means is the well known and most familiar algorithm among the other partition based clustering algorithms. It typically shows spectacular results even in significantly massive information sets of Image segmentation supported associate adaptive K-means clustering algorithm is conferred. The proposed method tries to develop Kmeans algorithm to get high
