Generic Decoding in the Cover Metric
In this paper, we study the hardness of decoding a random code endowed with the cover metric. As the cover metric lies in between the Hamming and rank metric, it presents itself as a promising candidate for code-based cryptography.

A combination of discrete and finite element method models for the current collector deformation and electrochemical performance analysis, respectively. The models are calibrated and validated with electrochemical and imaging data of hard carbon electrodes. These electrodes were manufactured with different parameters (slurry solid contents of 35 and 40

Emerging Materials and Future Strategies for Solid Oxide Electrochemical Cells
Solid oxide electrochemical cells operate under strongly coupled electrochemical and thermodynamic conditions, where performance is constrained by interactions among crystal structure, defect chemistry, and interfacial evolution. This review, based on a structure‐defect‐property‐durability framework, reveals the roles of lattice symmetry and defect ...

Towards a generic model of catalysis
A generic method of modelling catalysis using fundamental experimental bond based data is described. This model is a form of electrostatically driven catalysis which has some considerable literature. It is proposed that it can be used in conjunction with

This study investigates the regulatory effects of lactulose and polyethylene glycol (PEG) on the composition of gut microbiota in elderly constipation patients with chronic renal insufficiency by comparing the changes in microbial abundance. Both lactulose and PEG significantly modulate the gut microbiota structure, though their specific mechanisms and
