Psychological evidence for assumptions of path-based inheritance reasoning [PDF]
The psychological validity of inheritance reasoners is clarified. Elio and Pelletier (1993) presented the first pilot experiment exploring some of these issues.

ABSTRACT The ascent of novel alternative methods in drug development spotlights the dual needs for improved biological fidelity to in vivo, along with reproducibility, especially in regulatory applications. The need for pre‐clinical models of patient‐derived endometriosis lesions motivates the development of a vascularizable, completely synthetic ...

Immunosuppressive drugs for solid organ transplantation are critical dose drugs with a narrow therapeutic index. Many of the most commonly used innovator drugs are off patent and have been replicated by generic counterparts, often at substantial cost-savings to the patient.

This study presents the first entirely isogenic heart‐on‐chip, unifying cardiomyocytes, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells from a single iPSC source. The platform reveals a critical biological insight: the endothelium actively shields cardiac tissue from drug‐induced toxicity, challenging the predictive accuracy of conventional, avascular models for ...

Quality assessment of furosemide tablet generics used in a teaching hospital in Nigeria
The use of ineffective and poor-quality drugs endangers treatment leading to treatment failure. For the desired therapeutic effect, drugs should contain the appropriate amount of active pharmaceutical ingredients and the required physicochemical ...

Enhanced Endoscopic Internal Drainage of Gastric Abscess Through Additively Manufactured Stents
Postoperative gastric leaks are often treated with off‐label biliary double‐pigtail stents, yet conventional extruded designs are not optimized for leak anatomy, can migrate, and may limit abscess evacuation. PETALS is introduced to optimize transmural drainage geometry and enable patient‐specific 3D‐printable stents.
