Durable B‐Cell Impairment While Sparing IgA B Cells After Ocrelizumab Therapy in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Ocrelizumab (OCR), a humanized anti‐CD20 monoclonal antibody, is highly efficient in relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis (RR‐MS). We assessed early cellular B‐cell profiles in patients prior to OCR treatment, on OCR treatment, and after 15 months of therapy discontinuation.

Central Dysmyelination in SSADH‐Deficient Humans and Mice

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives Succinic semialdehyde dehydrogenase deficiency (SSADHD) is an inherited metabolic disorder characterized by an accumulation of γ‐aminobutyric (GABA). In addition to its synaptic role as an inhibitory neurotransmitter, GABA also plays an important role in myelination.

Quantitative Iron Measurements in the Basal Ganglia of NBIA Patients Using QSM: Insights From a Tertiary Center

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Neurodegeneration with brain iron accumulation (NBIA) comprises rare genetic disorders characterized by predominantly extrapyramidal symptoms and iron deposition in the basal ganglia. Conventional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) detects qualitative changes but cannot accurately quantify iron accumulation. Quantitative susceptibility

Research on Complete Coverage Path Planning of Agricultural Robots Based on Markov Chain Improved Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Due to the limitations of low coverage, high repetition rate, and slow convergence speed of the basic genetic algorithm (GA) in robot complete coverage path planning, the state transition matrix of the Markov chain is introduced to guide individual ...

Adaptive Genetic Algorithm

open access: yesCIT. Journal of computing and information technology, 1998
In this paper we introduce an adaptive, 'self-contained' genetic algorithm (GA) with steady-state selection. This variant of GA utilizes empirically based methods for calculating its control parameters. The adaptive algorithm estimates the percent of the population to be replaced with new individuals (generation gap).

Altered Dynamic Functional Network Connectivity in Post‐Stroke Aphasia

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Previous studies examining post‐stroke aphasia (PSA) patients via resting‐state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs‐fMRI) have predominantly focused on static functional connectivity. In contrast, the current investigation aims to elucidate the alterations in dynamic functional network connectivity (dFNC) among PSA patients ...
