We provide a step‐by‐step guide for producing E140 antigen fragments from Plasmodium berghei (Pb1) and Plasmodium vivax (Pv1). Pb1/Pv1 are expressed in E. coli, solubilized by freeze–thawing, refolded by slow dilution, purified by affinity chromatography (IMAC), then concentrated and subjected to quality control.

A Variational Beam Model for Failure of Cellular and Truss‐Based Architected Materials
Herein, a versatile and efficient beam modeling framework is developed to predict the nonlinear response and failure of cellular, truss‐based, and woven architected materials. It enables the exploration of their design space and the optimization of their mechanical behavior in the nonlinear regime. A variational formulation of a beam model is presented

Novel mAbs could detect cancer‐associated membrane proteins on various type of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDAC) by flow cytometry with viable PDAC cells and by immunohistochemistry with PDAC tissues. Results of protein expression were substantiated by mRNA expression by The Cancer Genome Atlas.

The Evolution of Adenoviral Vectors through Genetic and Chemical Surface Modifications
A long time has passed since the first clinical trial with adenoviral (Ad) vectors. Despite being very promising, Ad vectors soon revealed their limitations in human clinical trials.

FAM136A depletion upregulated ROS production, reduced mitochondrial membrane potential (ΔΨ) and ATP production, and upregulated expression of PCK1, PCK2, HMGCS1, and HMGCS2. The expression of both TOMM22 and TOMM20 was also upregulated. FAM136A depletion reduced HCCS that produce holocytochrome c by combining heme to apocytochrome c, and reduced the ...

Asynchronous Transmission of Wireless Multicast System with Genetic Joint Antennas Selection [PDF]
Optimal antenna selection algorithm of multicast transmission can significantly reduce the number of antennas and can acquire lower complexity and high performance which is close to that of exhaustive search. An asynchronous multicast transmission mechanism based on genetic antenna selection is proposed.

Fluorescently Labeled Adenovirus with pIX-EGFP for Vector Detection
Adenoviruses are extensively studied in terms of their use as gene therapy vectors and pathogenesis. These vectors have been targeted on both transcriptional and transductional levels to achieve cell-specific gene delivery.
