Conjugative Assembly Genome Engineering (CAGE)

2019
Conjugative assembly genome engineering (CAGE) enables the transfer of large chromosomal regions from a donor to a recipient. Specific regions of the donor chromosome can be introduced in the recipient genome by the directed insertion of an origin of transfer and two selection cassettes.

Engineered Meganucleases for Genome Engineering Purposes

2012
Over the past 15 years, site-directed genome modification has proven to be an efficient and robust approach. Meganucleases, sequence-specific endonucleases with long recognition sites, represent one of several tools described in this book that can be used for this purpose.
