Madras Agricultural Journal, 1996Thirteen varieties of cowpea were evaluated in three environments and stability parameters were studied for yield. The varieties IT- 86-D-1056 and Co-4 had average response to changes in environmental conditions with higher mean yield as against the population mean yield.

Madras Agricultural Journal, 1987Seven parents of cowpea (Co 3. Co 4, V 87, KC 199. C 152, KC 195 and CoVu 4) and their twelve F hybrids were evaluated for stability parameters with respect to grain yield in six environments. Pooled analysis of variance revealed that genotypes and environment were significant for grain yield.
