Molecular genetic markers and rubber breeding in Thailand : 2 - Field stndy of the family RRIM600 x PB217 for QTL identification [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
For developing QTL detection based on the genetic linkage map of the cross RRIM600 x PB217, a clonal field trial was set in Thailand in June 2002. It will be studied until 2010 and targeted to the genetic analysis of the physiological parameters of the ...

Loss of SOCS1 in Donor T Cells Exacerbates Intestinal GVHD by Driving a Chemokine‐Dependent Pro‐Inflammatory Immune Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
T cell‐specific Socs1 knockout leads to inflammatory differentiation of CD8+ T cells, prompting the STAT1/2 complex to drive the activation of Ccl5, Ccr5, and Cxcr3, and promoting the skewing of monocytes toward a pro‐inflammatory M1 macrophage lineage.

Variability, heritability and genetic advance for yield and quality components in interspecific F1 hybrids of cotton

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Plant Breeding, 2017
Assessment of genetic variability using appropriate parameters like phenotypic coefficient of variation (PCV), genotypic coefficient of variation (GCV), heritability (h2), and genetic advance (GA) are really necessary to start an efficient breeding ...

APOE‐stratified Proteomic and Metabolomic Analysis Reveals Mitochondrial Dysfunction Inflammation and Lipid Dysregulation in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A large‐scale multiomic dataset (proteomic and metabolomic) comprising 3,060 plasma samples were analyzed to identify proteins, metabolites, pathways, and protein‐associated drugs linked to Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) independently of apolipoprotein E (APOE). AD was associated with a distinct molecular signature that captures.

PM10 Impairs CD56dim NK Cell Cytotoxicity via FNBP1 Suppression to Exacerbate Rheumatoid Arthritis: Insights from Multimodal Multi‐Omics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study, through multi‐omics approaches and animal models, revealed that air pollutant PM10 exacerbates the progression of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) by suppressing FNBP1 expression and impairing the cytotoxic function of CD56dim NK cells. The “PM10–FNBP1–NK cells” axis provided novel insights into the environmental pathogenesis of RA and suggested ...

IGF‐1 Deficiency Serves as an Integrated Biomarker Pathogenic Driver and Predictor in Poor Ovarian Response

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IGF‐1 deficiency underlies poor ovarian response (POR), as reduced levels in follicular fluid and granulosa cells impair antral follicle formation and compromise reproductive outcomes. Including IGF‐1 as a biomarker significantly enhances the accuracy of models predicting both PORrisk and pregnancy success.

Restriction of Individual Branched‐Chain Amino Acids has Distinct Effects on the Development and Progression of Alzheimer's Disease in 3xTg Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Protein restriction (PR) slows Alzheimer's disease (AD) in mice, and other benefits of PR are due to decreased branched‐chain amino acids (BCAAs). We show that restricting any BCAA has benefits, with sex‐ and BCAA‐specific impacts on pathology, molecular signaling, and cognition.

Natural Negative Feedback Loops Confer Indica‐Japonica Differentiation for Grain Size Homeostasis in Rice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals the genetic and molecular mechanisms controlling grain size homeostasis through fine‐tuning OsGRX8 self‐expression by two natural negative feedback loops functioning in redox‐dependent or ‐independent manners and identifies two self‐regulatory haplotypes (SRHs) for the subspecies differentiation in rice.
