An investigation of the basement complex aquifer system in Lofa county, Liberia, for the purpose of siting boreholes [PDF]
Liberia is recovering from a 14 year civil war and only 51% of the rural population has access to safe drinking water. Little hydrogeological knowledge survives in Liberia, increasing the difficulty in successfully siting new boreholes.

Analytic Calculation of Geoelectric Fields Due to Geomagnetic Disturbances: A Test Case
Geomagnetic field variations produce geoelectric fields that can affect the operation of technological networks at the Earth's surface, including power systems, pipelines, phone cables and railway circuits.

Effect of positional inaccuracies on multielectrode results [PDF]
This paper investigates the effect of electrode positioning errors on the inverted pseudosection. Instead of random spacing errors (as usually assumed in geoelectrics) we exactly measured this effect among field conditions.

Bayesian Inversion of Geoelectrical Resistivity Data [PDF]
SummaryEnormous quantities of geoelectrical data are produced daily and often used for large scale reservoir modelling. To interpret these data requires reliable and efficient inversion methods which adequately incorporate prior information and use realistically complex modelling structures.

Examples of ac resistivity prospecting in archaeological research
In this paper we present the results of an alternating current resistivity survey, with a view to future tomographic processing. Two examples are given to evaluate the validity and the resolution of the method. The first in the Sabine Necropolis of Colle

A 100‐year Geoelectric Hazard Analysis for the U.S. High‐Voltage Power Grid
A once‐per‐century geoelectric hazard map is created for the U.S. high‐voltage power grid. A statistical extrapolation from 31 years of magnetic field measurements is made by identifying 84 geomagnetic storms with the Kp and Dst indices.
