Fuzzy Logic for Incidence Geometry
The paper presents a mathematical framework for approximate geometric reasoning with extended objects in the context of Geography, in which all entities and their relationships are described by human language. These entities could be labelled by commonly

Geometric equivalence relations on modules
In [4] Gersten developed the notion of homotopy for ring homomorphisms. A simple homotopy of two ring homomorphisms f,g : A +B can be viewed as a deformation over the parameter space Spec Z[t]. This is a homomorphism A+B[t] which restricts to f when t = 0 and to g when t = 1.

We prove that two closed oriented 3-manifolds have isomorphic quintuplets (homology, space of spin structures, linking pairing, cohomology rings, Rochlin function) if, and only if, they belong to the same class of a certain surgery equivalence relation ...

A note on degeneracy, marginal stability and extremality of black hole horizons
Given a stationary axisymmetric black hole horizon admitting a section characterised as a strictly future stable marginally outer trapped surface, we extend the equivalence between the notions of horizon degeneracy and marginal stability to the ...

Higgs Bundles, Gauge Theories and Quantum Groups [PDF]
The appearance of the Bethe Ansatz equation for the Nonlinear Schr\"{o}dinger equation in the equivariant integration over the moduli space of Higgs bundles is revisited. We argue that the wave functions of the corresponding two-dimensional topological U(

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

On the continuity of the geometric side of the trace formula
We extend the geometric side of Arthur's non-invariant trace formula for a reductive group $G$ defined over $\mathbb{Q}$ continuously to a natural space $\mathcal{C}(G(\mathbb{A}^1))$ of test functions which are not necessarily compactly supported.
