The Aharonov Casher phase of a bipartite entanglement pair traversing a quantum square ring
We propose in this article a quantum square ring that conveniently generates, annihilates and distills the Aharonov Casher phase with the aid of entanglement.

Experimental demonstration of the stability of Berry's phase for a spin-1/2 particle
The geometric phase has been proposed as a candidate for noise resilient coherent manipulation of fragile quantum systems. Since it is determined only by the path of the quantum state, the presence of noise fluctuations affects the geometric phase in a ...

Mutations in the C9orf72 gene represent the most common genetic cause of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a fatal neurodegenerative disease. Using patient‐derived neurons and C. elegans models, we find that the nucleoporin Nup107 is dysregulated in C9orf72‐associated ALS. Conversely, reducing Nup107 levels mitigates disease‐related changes.

Geometric Phase and Classical-Quantum Correspondence [PDF]
We study the geometric phase factors underlying the classical and the corresponding quantum dynamics of a driven nonlinear oscillator exhibiting chaotic dynamics. For the classical problem, we compute the geometric phase factors associated with the phase
