On Geometric Topological Algebras
The paper under review, one of related works by the author [see also the review above], is influenced by, and subsumed under, a programme of sheaf-theoretic treatment of differential geometry, hence the term ``geometric'' for the algebras in the title.

Aharonov-Bohm effect and geometric phases -- Exact and approximate topology
By analyzing an exactly solvable model in the second quantized formulation which allows a unified treatment of adiabatic and non-adiabatic geometric phases, it is shown that the topology of the adiabatic Berry's phase, which is characterized by the ...

Topological geometrical categories
The author studies topological categories (over \({\mathcal S}et\)) which are `geometrical' in the sense that they have an initially dense set of initially injective objects. He shows that such categories may be characterized as the categories of `affine sets' relative to some many-sorted (infinitary) algebra.

Generalised Swan modules and the D(2) problem
We give a detailed proof that, for any natural number n, each algebraic two complex over C_n \times C_\infty is realised up to congruence by a geometric complex arising from a presentation for the group.Comment: This is the version published by Algebraic

A Euclidean Bianchi Model Based On $S^3/D_8^*$ [PDF]
We explain how the round four-sphere can be sliced along homogeneous 3~-~manifolds of topology $S^3/D_8^*$. This defines a Euclidean Bianchi type IX model for Einstein's equations with cosmological constant.

Geometric lattices with topology
[Das Referat bezieht sich auf diese und die nachfolgende Arbeit.] Diese beiden Arbeiten bringen die Theorie der topologischen geometrischen Verbände zu einem sehr befriedigenden Abschluß. Non-Abelian adiabatic geometric transformations in a cold strontium gas
The symmetry group and geometric phase of a system are responsible for many quantum properties related to non-trivial topology. Here the authors show non-Abelian geometric phase in laser-coupled ultracold strontium atoms by using a tripod scheme.

Homological Type of Geometric Transitions [PDF]
The present paper gives an account and quantifies the change in topology induced by small and type II geometric transitions, by introducing the notion of the \emph{homological type} of a geometric transition.

Contact Structures and Geometric Topology [PDF]
This is a survey on contact open books and contact Dehn surgery. The relation between these two concepts is discussed, and various applications are sketched, e.g. the monodromy of Stein fillable contact 3-manifolds, the Giroux-Goodman proof of Harer's conjecture on fibred links, construction of symplectic caps to fillings (Eliashberg, Etnyre), and ...
