Tailored Hierarchical Porous Copper Architectures via Three Dimensional Printing and Pressure‐less Sintering for Next‐Generation Lithium‐Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.

Composition‐Tuned Enhancement of the Anomalous Nernst Effect in FeCo–Pt Thin Films on Rigid and Flexible Substrates

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Disordered (Fe50Co50)1−xPtx thin films exhibit a pronounced anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) with a strong composition dependence on both rigid and flexible substrates. The transverse thermoelectric response peaks near 22.5 at.% Pt, accompanied by enhanced αxy/σxy scaling, thermal transport, and ANE sensitivity.

Non-linear dynamic finite element analysis of micro-strut lattice structures made by laser powder bed fusion

open access: yesJournal of Materials Research and Technology, 2022
The development of additive manufacturing technologies enables the production of a new type of porous materials for the absorption of mechanical energy. These are, for example, metallic lattice structures produced by laser powder bed fusion.

Post-buckling Partial Similitude Scaled Model for Stiffened Cylinders under Axial Compression by Energy Method

open access: yesBuildings, 2022
Considering the geometric nonlinearity and geometric imperfection of stiffened cylinders, the generalized similitude conditions and scaling laws for axial compression post-buckling are established by applying the similitude transformation to the total ...

Influence of settlements and geometrical imperfections on the internal stress state of masonry structures

open access: yes, 2021
Since a few decades, the Discrete Element Modelling (DEM) method has been adopted by many authors as a reliable tool for the structural assessment of unreinforced masonry (URM) structures.

Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.
