Splines in geometry and topology [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Aided Geometric Design, 2016
This survey paper describes the role of splines in geometry and topology, emphasizing both similarities and differences from the classical treatment of splines. The exposition is non-technical and contains many examples, with references to more thorough treatments of the subject.

Lagrangian topology and enumerative geometry [PDF]

open access: yesGeometry & Topology, 2012
We use the "pearl" machinery in our previous work to study certain enumerative invariants associated to monotone Lagrangian submanifolds.

Stochastic geometry and topology of non-Gaussian fields. [PDF]

open access: yesProc Natl Acad Sci U S A, 2012
Gaussian random fields pervade all areas of science. However, it is often the departures from Gaussianity that carry the crucial signature of the nonlinear mechanisms at the heart of diverse phenomena, ranging from structure formation in condensed matter

Smooth approximations and their applications to homotopy types

open access: yesPracì Mìžnarodnogo Geometričnogo Centru, 2020
Let $M, N$ the be smooth manifolds, $\mathcal{C}^{r}(M,N)$ the space of ${C}^{r}$ maps endowed with the corresponding weak Whitney topology, and $\mathcal{B} \subset \mathcal{C}^{r}(M,N)$ an open subset.

Topological string geometry

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2020
Perturbative string amplitudes are correctly derived from the string geometry theory, which is one of the candidates of a non-perturbative formulation of string theory. In order to derive non-perturbative effects rather easily, we formulate topological string geometry theory.

Controlled topology in geometry [PDF]

open access: yesBulletin of the American Mathematical Society, 1989
The purpose of the present note is to announce some finiteness theorems for classes of Riemannian manifolds.

On the geometry and the topology of parametric curves [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 45th International Symposium on Symbolic and Algebraic Computation, 2020
We consider the problem of computing the topology and describing the geometry of a parametric curve in R. We present an algorithm, PTOPO, that constructs an abstract graph that is isotopic to the curve in the embedding space. Our method exploits the benefits of the parametric representation and does not resort to implicitization.

ICrAData - Software for InterCriteria Analysis [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal Bioautomation, 2018
In this paper, we consider the InterCriteria Analysis (ICrA), which is based on the index matrices and intuitionistic fuzzy sets. We demonstrate the application of ICrA using the software ICrAData.

Error-Correcting Codes on Projective Bundles over Deligne–Lusztig Varieties

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
The aim of this article is to give lower bounds on the parameters of algebraic geometric error-correcting codes constructed from projective bundles over Deligne–Lusztig surfaces.

Cyclopermutohedron: geometry and topology [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Mathematics, 2016
The face poset of the permutohedron realizes the combinatorics of linearly ordered partitions of the set $[n]=\{1,...,n\}$. Similarly, the cyclopermutohedron is a virtual polytope that realizes the combinatorics of cyclically ordered partitions of the set $[n+1]$.
