The End of Self‐Regulation: Will the Football Governance Act 2025 Fix the National Game?

open access: yesThe Modern Law Review, Volume 89, Issue 4, Page 628-658, July 2026.
The Football Governance Act 2025 is a watershed. It upends the model of self‐regulation that has defined how the game has been run in England and Wales for over a century‐and‐a‐half. The newly created Independent Football Regulator will exercise control over clubs, owners, and competition organisers.

The roles of multinational enterprises in governing the sustainability of global supply chains

open access: yesInternational Journal of Management Reviews, Volume 28, Issue 3, July 2026.
Abstract An extensive but fragmented body of research shows that multinational enterprises (MNEs) engage with multiple sustainability rules in global supply chains (GSCs) spanning the private, social and public governance sectors. MNEs perform diverse roles by either shaping or complying with these rules.

Friendship in the New Political Theologies

open access: yesModern Theology, Volume 42, Issue 3, Page 686-707, July 2026.
Abstract As a distinct academic discipline, political theology rose and fell with Carl Schmitt. If there was any hope of redeeming it, the discipline would have to be entirely renewed. A deep‐seated and understudied feature of that renewal lies in the reconceptualisation of the political relation.

Measurement of differential cross sections in the kinematic angular variable ϕ * for inclusive Z boson production in pp collisions at s = 8 $$ \sqrt{s}=8 $$ TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
Measurements of differential cross sections dσ/dϕ * and double-differential cross sections d2 σ/dϕ *d|y| for inclusive Z boson production are presented using the dielectron and dimuon final states.

Anti‐Black Racism in Nursing in Canada and Black Nurses' Resistance: An Analytic Review of Newspaper Coverage, 1940s–2020

open access: yesNursing Inquiry, Volume 33, Issue 3, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Black women's participation in nursing in Canada has been marked by a long history of discrimination and exclusion, even after they were formally permitted to enter the profession in the mid‐1940s. Examining mainstream Canadian newspaper coverage, this study traces anti‐Black racism in Canadian nursing from the 1940s to 2020.

Search for dark matter in events with energetic, hadronically decaying top quarks and missing transverse momentum at s=13 $$ \sqrt{s}=13 $$ TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
A search for dark matter is conducted in events with large missing transverse momentum and a hadronically decaying, Lorentz-boosted top quark. This study is performed using proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, in data recorded ...

Pseudorapidity distributions of charged hadrons in proton-lead collisions at sNN=5.02 $$ \sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=5.02 $$ and 8.16 TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
The pseudorapidity distributions of charged hadrons in proton-lead collisions at nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energies sNN=5.02 $$ \sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=5.02 $$ and 8.16 TeV are presented.

Search for lepton flavour violating decays of the Higgs boson to μτ and eτ in proton-proton collisions at s=13 $$ \sqrt{s}=13 $$ TeV

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
A search for lepton flavour violating decays of the Higgs boson in the μτ and eτ decay modes is presented. The search is based on a data set corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 35.9 fb−1 of proton-proton collisions collected with the CMS ...

Measurement of angular parameters from the decay B0 → K⁎0μ+μ− in proton–proton collisions at s=8TeV

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
Angular distributions of the decay B0→K⁎0μ+μ− are studied using a sample of proton–proton collisions at s=8TeV collected with the CMS detector at the LHC, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.5fb−1.

Search for a massive resonance decaying to a pair of Higgs bosons in the four b quark final state in proton–proton collisions at s=13TeV

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2018
A search for a massive resonance decaying into a pair of standard model Higgs bosons, in a final state consisting of two b quark–antiquark pairs, is performed.
