Simulator‐Based Bayesian Inference of Enhanced Geothermal Reservoir Properties
Abstract Inversions of dynamic multi‐scale multi‐physics subsurface system properties rely on the effective sampling of high‐dimensional parameter spaces and are thus notoriously difficult to perform. The associated models are defined by complex nonlinear relationships with potentially stochastic components, which lead to analytically intractable ...

Diffusion Priors Enhanced Velocity Model Building From Time‐Lag Images Using a Neural Operator
Abstract Velocity model building (VMB) serves as a crucial component for achieving high precision subsurface imaging. However, conventional VMB methods are often computationally expensive and time consuming. In recent years, with the rapid advancement of deep learning, particularly the success of generative models and neural operators (NOs), deep ...

Abstract Offshore freshened groundwater (OFG) is a significant yet underexplored component of global water resources, occurring widely along many continental margins. However, its dynamics remain poorly constrained due to limited offshore observations and the absence of robust evaluation models for unambiguous emplacement interpretation.

Rapid Increase in Geogenic CO2 Emissions from Antarctic Permafrost
Abstract Thawing permafrost can amplify climate change by releasing previously stored carbon, but observations of this feedback come mainly from the Arctic. Ice‐free Antarctic terrains are generally regarded as minor CO2 sources, although sub‐permafrost brines and deep carbon reservoirs may support localized geogenic degassing.
