2010 Sixth International Conference on Natural Computation, 2010It is known that parameter estimations of complex mathematical models needs efficency methods to search the optimization values. In this paper, a method is proposed to optimize parameters of complex mathmatical models by genetic algorithm. By this way, genetic algorithm and parameter estimation carry on organic combination.

Effect of sound on the germination rate of turnip seeds
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1974The number of seeds that germinate as a function of time has been examined keeping all environmental parameters constant with the exception of the sound pressure level and frequency These data were very reproducible. At 100 dB all the single-frequency sound data have essentially the same characteristic curve.

Control of galactosyl‐sugar metabolism in relation to rate of germination
Physiologia Plantarum, 1983The storage sugars stachyose and raffinose (galactosyl derivatives of sucrose) are metabolized early during germination of soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.] seeds. The activities of four enzymes involved in the catabolism of these sugars were monitored in soybean cotyledons and embryonic axes during a 7‐day germination period.
