VARIABLE SELECTION ON THE TIMING OF GERMINATION IN COLLINSIA VERNA (SCROPHULARIACEAE) [PDF]
Natural selection on the timing of seed germination was investigated in a natural population of the winter annual Collinsia verna (Scrophulariaceae) for two years. The goal was to quantify 1) the importance of the timing of seed germination to life history evolution in this population and 2) variation in selection in time and space.

Macrophage membrane‐coated Cu/Zn‐MOF nanozyme microneedles (MNs) reprogram the diabetic wound microenvironment through localized, minimally invasive delivery. By suppressing M1‐like macrophage activation while promoting extracellular matrix deposition and angiogenesis, this biomimetic platform accelerates diabetic wound repair.

A bicistronic rAAV8 vector encoding Aflibercept (Afb) and COMP‐cAng1 simultaneously coordinates VEGF clearance and Tie2‐mediated vessel maturation. In a 3D angiogenesis‐on‐a‐chip model, rAAV8‐Afb/cAng1 effectively reverses pathological barrier breakdown under clinical disease‐mimicking challenges.

Oxygen‐releasing hydrogels are widely used to support cell survival in 3D cultures and to promote wound healing. However, incorporating catalase to convert H2O2 into O2 often generates additional oxygen bubbles, leading to material instability which rarely addressed.

Modeling the Effect of Ethanol Vapor on the Germination Time of Penicillium chrysogenum
The influence of ethanol vapor on germination of Penicillium chrysogenum was determined on yeast nitrogen base plus glucose agar medium at 25 degrees C. Ethanol vapors were generated by 0 to 6% (wt/wt) ethanol solutions at the bottom of hermetically closed petri dishes.

Recent Advances in Ferrite‐Based Materials for Biomedical Applications: A Comprehensive Review
Ferrite nanoplatforms are presented as tunable biomedical materials in which synthesis control, cation engineering, defect/morphology regulation, and surface functionalization govern structure–property–bioactivity relationships. These design strategies enable multifunctional applications including MRI contrast, magnetic hyperthermia, targeted drug ...
