Vegetables seeds – nutritional aspects in response to germination time
Vegetable Crops Research Bulletin, 2006 The chemical composition, mineral constituents, amino acid profile, fatty acid composition of radish and alfalfa [lucerne] seeds were studied to evaluate their nutrition value in response to germination time. Radish and alfalfa seeds were germinated for 1, 3 and 5 days in the dark at 25 deg C. Seed germination caused the decrease in dry matter content.
