Asymmetric Effects of Medium‐ and High‐Tech Industries on Environmental Sustainability and the SDGs in the EU‐5: Evidence From Green Energy Transition and the Load Capacity Curve

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In advanced European economies facing persistent environmental pressures, achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) requires aligning technological transformation with ecological constraints. This study examines the asymmetric effects of medium‐ and high‐technology (M&HTEC) industries on environmental sustainability in the EU‐5 ...

NELL-1-loaded GelMA-fibrinogen crosslinked hydrogel maintains periosteum stability to promote stem cell enrichment and osteogenesis

open access: yesMaterials & Design
Jawbone defects pose significant challenges for oral implantation and restoration. Guided bone regeneration is the most common strategy for bone augmentation. However, inadequate efficiency of osteogenesis remains a persistent issue. Periosteum serves as

A new standardization-based ranking method for generalized trapezoidal picture fuzzy numbers [PDF]

open access: yesYugoslav Journal of Operations Research
A generalized fuzzy number (GFN), whose height is not necessarily 1, is used in situations when expert opinions are not completely reliable. This subnormality complicates operations based on the extension principle.

Investigating the EKC and LCC Hypotheses for BRICS Countries: The Role of Economic Complexity in Environmental Degradation

open access: yesNatural Resources Forum, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The number of studies in literature examining the relationship between economic complexity and environment continues to increase. In those studies, either environmental degradation is represented by a limited indicator, or a traditional empirical method is preferred.

Graph Fourier Deep Learning for Spatiotemporal and Hydrogeological Interpretation of Groundwater Levels in the Yellow River Basin

open access: yesWater Resources Research
Groundwater systems exhibit strong spatial heterogeneity and nonlinear dynamics, complicating the parameterization of physically based hydrological models and limiting adaptability at large scales.

No. 13: The Growth of Food Banking in Cities of the Global South [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
As the number and size of food banks increase globally, it is critical to research how food banks fit into existing food systems and their role in reducing food insecurity and food waste.

Spin-Imbalance and Magnetoresistance in Ferromagnet/Superconductor/Ferromagnet Double Tunnel Junctions

open access: yes, 1999
We theoretically study the spin-dependent transport in a ferromagnet/super- conductor/ferromagnet double tunnel junction. The tunneling current in the antiferromagnetic alignment of the magnetizations gives rise to a spin imbalance in the superconductor.

FinTech, Financial Inclusion, and Environmental Outcomes: Evidence From the European Transition Towards Sustainability

open access: yesEuropean Financial Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper aims to investigate Europe's transition towards sustainability. We explore the role of FinTech, financial inclusion, green innovation, renewable energy, and natural resource rents on carbon dioxide emissions, greenhouse gas emissions, and the ecological footprint. This paper applies a panel dataset of 31 European countries from 2004

Cohomogeneity One Three Dimensional Anti de Sitter Space, Proper and Nonproper Actions

open access: yes, 2014
In this paper we give a classification of closed and connected Lie groups, up to conjugacy in $Iso({\bf adS_3})$, acting by cohomogeneity one on the three dimensional anti de sitter space ${\bf adS_3}$.

The Dithiirane–Thiosulfine Equilibrium Revisited—A Computational Study of Structure, Thermodynamics and Kinetics

open access: yesJournal of Physical Organic Chemistry, Volume 39, Issue 6, June 2026.
The dithiirane–thiosulfine equilibrium has been revisited by means of modern computational chemistry tools to shed light on whether stable thiosulfines might be isolated. ABSTRACT Thiosulfines as reactive S‐centered 1,3‐dipoles undergoing (3 + 2)‐cycloadditions are still of interest in the chemistry of sulfur‐rich heterocycles.
