Giant magnetoimpedance effect at GHz frequencies in amorphous microwires
Studies of magnetic properties and GMI effect of amorphous Co-Fe rich microwires reveal that they present GMI effect at GHz frequencies. Magnetic field dependences of GMI effect are affected by the post-processing conditions.

Current distribution and giant magnetoimpedance in composite wires with helical magnetic anisotropy
The giant magnetoimpedance effect in composite wires consising of a non-magnetic inner core and soft magnetic shell is studied theoretically. It is assumed that the magnetic shell has a helical anisotropy.

After one of the B atoms in Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 alloy was replaced by both 0.7 Si and 0.3 Co, Fe73.5Co0.3Cu1Nb3Si14.2B8 alloy ribbons were prepared by single roll fast quenching method. The obtained alloy ribbons were subsequently wound into ring magnetic cores, and then these magnetic cores were annealed at different temperatures in air.

Off-diagonal magnetoimpedance in field-annealed Co-based amorphous ribbons
The off-diagonal magnetoimpedance in field-annealed CoFeSiB amorphous ribbons was measured in the low-frequency range using a pick-up coil wound around the sample. The asymmetric two-peak behavior of the field dependence of the off-diagonal impedance was

Operation Regimes and Design Principles of Delta‐E Effect Sensors
Delta‐E effect magnetoelectric sensors enable the detection of weak magnetic fields, yet performance optimization remains nontrivial due to coupled magnetic, mechanical, and electronic losses. A systematic study of 24 miniaturized MEMS devices with different geometries reveals three excitation‐dependent regimes: electronic‐noise, magnetic‐noise, and ...

Giant magnetoimpedance (GMI) has been proposed as a powerful technique for biosensing. In GMI biosensors based on the magnetic label detection the change of the impedance of sensitive element under the application of an external magnetic field was analyzed in the presence of magnetic nanoparticles in a test solution.
