Ecological Adaptation Mechanisms Underlying Successful Plant Reproduction
During floral induction, various environmental and endogenous signals converge to regulate the florigen protein, which is transported from leaves to the SAM to initiate flowering. Within the SAM, a complex network of receptor kinases and small peptides orchestrates floral development with high spatiotemporal precision.

Genetic control of gibberellin metabolism and signalling in crop improvement
Many developmental processes regulated by gibberellin (GA) impact on crop yield and quality, and genetic variants affected in GA biosynthesis or signalling have been widely exploited in agriculture.

Kaurenolides and fujenoic acids are side products of the gibberellin P450-1 monooxygenase in Gibberella fujikuroi [PDF]
The steps involved in kaurenolide and fujenoic acids biosynthesis, from ent-kauradienoic acid and ent-6α,7α-dihydroxykaurenoic acid, respectively, are demonstrated in the gibberellin (GA)-deficient Gibberella fujikuroi mutant SG139, which lacks the ...

Redox‐Dependent Chaperoning of GBF1 Condensates Regulates Seed Germination in Arabidopsis
In dormant seeds (low ROS), GBF1 forms liquid condensates to repress the germination gene CathB3, and the chaperone GIP1 maintains condensate liquidity and repressive activity. Upon imbibition (high ROS), ROS oxidize GIP1 during germination, impairing its chaperone function.

Morphotypes of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) symbiosis, Arum, Paris, and Intermediate types, are mainly determined by host plant lineages. It was reported that the phytohormone gibberellin (GA) inhibits the establishment of Arum-type AM symbiosis in legume

Haplotype‐Resolved 3D Genomic Landscapes and Their Impacts on Agronomic Traits in Grapevine
This study presents a haplotype‐resolved 3D genomic landscape of grapevine, revealing that structural variations (SVs) are closely associated with phased topologically associating domain (TAD) boundary transitions. These rearrangements coordinate with allele‐specific DNA methylation (ASM) and allele‐biased gene expression (ASE) to shape key agronomic ...

TaMYB7‐A1 directly activates TaABI5 to enhance ABA signaling and regulate ABA‐GA homeostasis, enforcing seed dormancy. Its superior allele, derived from wild einkorn introgression, harbors a MITE insertion that elevates expression and two amino acid substitutions that enhance transcriptional activity, collectively generating graded PHS resistance for ...
